The two models have similar quality mics, but with different specific capabilities. In fact, the C930e is even certified for Skype for Business and is Cisco compatible. Even though its video is HD, it’s not as bandwidth-heavy since it’s optimized for online calls. The full HD 1080p resolution makes it look like you’re present in person at important online meetings. It also provides zoom capability of up to 4X without noticeable graininess.
It uses Logitech’s RightLight 2 technology to effectively correct the image when you’re operating in poorly lit conditions. It’s also perfect for product demos, providing a full rich view of your demonstration. 90 degrees means that you can easily fit a whiteboard or any other visual aids that you might use during meetings onscreen. In comparison, the C930e’s widest-ever field of view means business. Though 60fps is only available at 720p (full 1080p video is capped at 30fps), it won’t be a huge problem since your streaming overlay will most likely take up only a small portion of the screen. At 720p, the webcam can stream up to 60fps, capturing all your movements and facial expressions for stream viewers without any lag or distortion. Its 78 degree field of view can fit up to two people, making broadcasting local multiplayer games an exciting possibility. Looking at the C922, we see that it’s optimized for gaming streamers. It’s apparent from the kind of video quality that each model emphasizes that they really intend for one primary use. Both webcams have a maximum video resolution of 1920×1080 and support H.264-compressed video, but they’re more different than they are similar. The two webcams wear their differences with pride, though they do have a few similarities.
